🥖 False teachings are like yeast or leaven
😵‍💫 They deceive and mislead people
🧠 They are the ideas of men, not the commands of God
🙇🏽‍♂️ They are people's personal beliefs, practices, customs, preferences, and ways of thinking which they want to impose as the Word of God
👑 False teachings tend to glorify the spiritual leader even more than they glorify Christ
📜 False teachings are not backed by clear Scriptures interpreted within the right context, that cannot be correctly explained or interpreted
😤 They lead to pride and all kinds of strife
💰 False teachings focus often on what you can get, and not on a Godly life
😬 They downplay the importance of living right

🛡️ How to Protect Ourselves from the Devastating Effects of False Teachings:
📖 We must know the truth of God’s Word for ourselves
🕊️ We must develop our personal relationship with the Holy Spirit and commune with Him personally
💪🏽 We must be matured and be strong in the Lord
👂🏽 We must not blindly accept every teaching we hear, even if they are coming from popular servants of God
🏛️ We must be grounded in a church where sound doctrine is taught and surround ourselves with matured believers
😊 We should stay humble and teachable
